NACKED NECK package design
Nacked neck is a breed of chicken fairly common in Hungary, and in my opinion they are really pretty animals. The packaging is made for the famous Hungarian alcoholic beverage, pálinka.
It's a handcrafted product made by an imaginary aunt and uncle in a small village in eastern Hungary, Tiszaföldvár. The inspiration for the packaging was the label of Bacardi Rum, which has rich illustrations that also feature the history of the drink. It was a school project in Budai Rajziskola in 2018.
The description on the label reads: "Aunt Juliet has learned this secret recipe from her grandmother.
Be sure to consume moderately! Don't be like Uncle John, Aunt Juliet's husband, who once confused their nacked neck chicken with Aunt Juliet. That was a rough winter night, indeed."
NACKED NECK csomagolás tervezés
A "nacked neck" magyarul kopasznyakút jelent, ami a címkén is látható kopasznyakú tyúkra utal.
A kopasznyakú tyúk eléggé elterjedt baromfifajta Magyarországon is, ráadásul nagyon csinosak.
A címke egy házi pálinkának készült, amit egy képzeletbeli páros, Júlia néni és János bácsi készít egy kis kelet-magyarországi faluban, Tiszaföldváron.
Az inspirációt a Bacardi címkéje adta, amin szintén sok az illusztráció és szerepel
a márka háttér története is. Iskolai feladatom volt, 2018-ban készítettem a Budai Rajziskolában.
